Philosophy We are irreversibly immersed in iconics, as is the cybernetwork. Iconics influence global powers, rogue maniacs, and our everyday lives. Decisions are made that affect all of humanity based on temporal perceptions and estimations of the substance and value attributed to media iconics. There is much to gain for the powers that control iconics as rhetorical weapons of mass influence and destruction, and there is no greater communicative power on Earth than digital mass media wielded through its systemic use and unregulated abuse of specific media iconics today. Still, all regulations of iconics are subject to digitality, Web-based autopoiesis, and other new artificial life virtualities. | |
